Samuel Buthelezi
Executive Chairman BSc Hons UK
Sam obtained his B Sc (Hons) Accounting and Management Information Systems at the University of Hertfordshire (UK). Prior to joining Trilinear, Sam was employed in the corporate finance division of SCMB for two and a half years where he worked in leveraged investments i.e. management buy-outs and buy-ins, investment buy-ins and buy-outs and empowerment structures from 1994 to1996. Sam has also gained some experience in corporate credit, corporate banking, public sector finance and project finance during his period at SCMB. Prior to his departure he also worked on mergers and acquisitions at SCMB. Sam was a founding member of the Analyst Society. He is a highly networked businessman both locally and internationally and has additional business interests in mining, telecommunications and service industries.
Tas Rashed
Group Accountant
Tas joined the Trilinear Group as Group Accountant in February 2008. She has diplomas in both Bookkeeping and Business Management. Tas has worked in the Mining sector as well as doing various projects for the World Bank. More recently she has worked in various Government departments as a Financial Project Manager.
Sharon Malan
Group HR Manager
Sharon Malan joined the Trilinear Group as Human Resource Manager in April 2008. Having worked in the HR environment since 2004, Sharon has a wealth of experience across the board in human resources. Sharon completed a diploma in Industrial and organizational Psychology through UNISA, and is currently studying toward Business Psychology and Human Behavior.
Yusrie Ismail
Office Assistant
Yusrie joined Trilinear in 2008 as our general Office Assistant.
Ashley Mdluli
Receptionist
Ashley joined in 2003 as the tea lady. She moved into an administrative position and was then appointed as the company's receptionist.
Caroline Makunga
Assistant Receptionist
In 2007 Caroline joined as the tea lady and has since progressed to assist as receptionist when neccessary.
